PERKHAUS LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Perkhaus," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Perkhaus mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "App"). This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our End User License Agreement and our Business User License Agreement (collectively, the "Terms"). Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the applicable Terms.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account Information: Email address, name, and date of birth.
- Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe; we do not store full payment details on our servers.
- Profile Information: Profile photo, preferences, and notification settings.
- Communications: Any messages, support requests, or other content you send us directly.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, language, and unique device identifiers.
- Location Data: With your consent, your device's location is used for nearby-Venue discovery, geofence verification of location-restricted Perks, and login-anomaly detection.
- Usage Data: Features used, Venues and Perks viewed, redemption history, and other interactions with the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the App;
- Process subscriptions, billing, and other transactions;
- Verify Perk redemptions at participating Venues;
- Personalize content, recommendations, and discovery features;
- Send transactional and (with your consent) marketing notifications;
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents; and
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Information Sharing
We may share your information with:
- Venue Partners: Limited redemption data necessary to verify Perk usage and confirm your eligibility for a particular offer.
- Service Providers: Payment processors (Stripe), cloud hosting providers, map and location providers (such as Mapbox), authentication providers, customer-support tooling, and analytics providers, each acting on our behalf and subject to confidentiality obligations.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Perkhaus, our users, or others.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the App's Profile settings or by contacting us at the address below.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Opt out of marketing communications;
- Disable location services on your device (which may limit certain features); and
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

7. Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS / HTTPS);
- Secure authentication via Supabase;
- Access controls and least-privilege practices for our team; and
- Regular security reviews of our infrastructure and dependencies.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under the age of eighteen (18). If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.
9. International Users
The App is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfer and processing.
10. Third-Party Services
The App may link to, or interoperate with, third-party services that we do not control (for example, payment processing through Stripe and map data through Mapbox). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third party before providing personal information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other reasons. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy within the App or on our website and update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after the updated Privacy Policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
